The Easter Bunny Visits for Four Fun-Filled Days!

Throughout our four-day eggstravaganza, general admission tickets give you access to our museum grounds and exhibit buildings, and include a visit with the Easter Bunny! You’ll be able to take your own photos, or for an additional charge, have our professional onsite photographer take your family’s photos. Enjoy the springtime weather as you explore the museum exhibits featuring model train layouts, trains, airplanes, automobiles, trucks, and more.

Activities include:

  • Bunny Trail-stop with a take-home treat at the last stop
  • Coloring sheet and crafts
  • Balloon Twister
  • Inflatable Games
  • Model Trains
  • Photos with the Easter Bunny
  • Professional photographer for a family photo (additional charge)

Upgrade your visit with a leisurely 25-minute train ride experience aboard our specially decorated Easter-themed train! While riding the rails through our 60-acre museum site, you’ll be greeted by the Easter Bunny who will be passing out treats to the kids. Your ticket also includes admission to the museum grounds and exhibit buildings. Before or after your ride, you’ll be able to enjoy a visit with the Easter Bunny and all the other activities!

Meals with the Easter Bunny

Hop onboard to join the Easter Bunny for a meet and greet meal on a railroad dining car! These limited-seating options are available each day for an additional fee. The dining car will be at a stationary location and will not be moving on the train. When scheduling, please allow 30-45 minutes to enjoy your meal with the Easter Bunny, in addition to approximately 10-15 minutes walking time from meal location to train departure location. Admission tickets have to be purchased to add this option.

You should be in line for your train at least 15-minutes before your ride time.

Please enter via the main entrance at 1 Samuel Spencer Drive, Spencer, NC, and follow the signs to the Barber Junction Visitor Center, where you will redeem your tickets.

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

Given the continued threat of COVID-19 and variants of the virus, face masks are required on the train, but are optional for other indoor areas of the N.C. Transportation Museum. Masks must be worn at all times while aboard the train. Failure to comply may result in denial of boarding or removal. Children under the age of two and individuals with disabilities who cannot wear a mask, or cannot safely wear a mask, because of the disability as defined by the Americans with Disability Act are exempt.
