Let’s get fired up again with the Norfolk & Western Class J No. 611!
In cooperation with the Virginia Museum of Transportation, the North Carolina Transportation Museum will be hosting this all-day behind-the-scenes event that allows you to get up close with the locomotive and learn from the crew members as they get the engine prepared for operation. We’ll soon be bidding farewell to the N&W 611 as it leaves for the Strasburg Rail Road, so don’t miss your chance to see it one more time at the North Carolina Transportation Museum.
