Are you looking for a unique badge, patch, or belt loop experience for your Troop or Pack? Look no further, as the N.C. Transportation Museum offers four exciting scouting events each year. See below for more information about our upcoming events for 2025!
Counselor
A Merit Badge Counselor will be on-site for our 2025 Scout’s BSA Aviation Day and 2025 Scout’s BSA Rail Camp. Blue Cards will be provided by the counselor, who will be available to sign off on all cards for each merit badge once all classes have been completed and all requirements have been satisfied. Troop Leaders can also request to have requirements signed off on virtually.

2025 Cub Scout
Transportation Explorer Day
Saturday, March 8
9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
During our 2025 Cub Scout Event, all Cubs will have the opportunity to become a Transportation Explorer and complete the requirements for two transportation related Belt Loops/Pins.
2025 Scouts Aviation Day
Saturday, March 22
9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
During our 2025 Scouts Aviation Day, Scouts will learn about how airplanes work, aviation terms, careers in aviation, pilot certifications and create a FPG-9 to take home, all while completing the requirements for the Aviation Merit Badge.
